Gotta love how a purely informing thread boiled down to toilet humour.

Like all energy drinks this stuff will fade in and hopefully out of the market. Still though week of exams could be handy

it still has less caffine by volume then espresso.
    should espresso be banned?

I drink espresso by the mug and I'm perfectly normal.

Why stop at banning the drink? Why not go after the song "Cocaine" as well and have "cocaine" blanked out in all the media.

    NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO

If that can make it to the irish market, why cant Mountain Dew?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 2,529 ✭✭✭TomCo

Mountain Dew contains brominated vegetable oil which as far as I know is banned here.

    HABEEB IT!

    Awesome! bring it on..

    Hmmm...

"350% stronger" would actually mean it has 4.5x the caffeine of RB.

I don't care what its called, I would argue that its more likely to be stopped because of the content then the name.

I would like to meet one of these kids who would want to take cocaine because they drank a drink called cocaine. I've been drinking Coke my whole life and I don't want to take Coke.

Touche. The nanny state in this country is a f**king joke. The irony is that because these muppets create a song and dance about the drink the kids will then want to drink it. If they just shut up and put up half the kids would never hear of it let alone drink it.

It shouldn't be banned because of the name; if anything it should be banned because of its caffeine content. Thats just stupid to the extreme.

    Well, thats it.
Soon as the stuff hits the shelves FnF will die.
I have an unnatural taste for anything caffeine as does Greysoul.
This stuff will mean our death.

I was under the impression that about 100 years ago Coca Cola was addictive, and that they were forced to change their "secret" formula in later years because of this?

Coca Cola's still addictive, what with all the caffiene and such, but yeah it had cocaine in it originally and they were told that cocaine was to addictive and to remove it, so they switched to caffeine which wasn't thought to be addictive at the time.

but espresso has about 40 % more caffine then it by volume.
why should should this be banned and not espresso?
