hi there,
my water from a drilled well has recently become very cloudy. Had someone here to test it yesterday who told me it was very fine silt and would be difficult to filter, he told me to get pump raised by ten meters, got on to man who fitted well and pump who said that he'd already lifted it fithteen meters?
any ideas on what i should do next?

suspended matter in water is easy to deal with.

yea, i thought that and as i said paid an engineer €90 to test the water and then fit a filter. my problem is that he said that the silt is too fine for a filter. could that be true? tbh if he'd told me to fit any filter i'd have gladly paid him and had it fitted. so i'm a little confused

further to above found some info that said i should leave water running until it cleared. Water went black!!
