following a minority team is really annoying here.

a couple of sundays ago i wanted to watch sheffield wednesday against leeds united, which is a very big game in its own right (Yorkshire Derby).
it was a one o clock kick off on a sunday and didnt interfere with any other games on tv.but still pubs wouldnt turn on their tv to watch the game.
even up stairs in the kings head i was told that the match wasnt on their schedule to show!they have 3 tvs in that place which if i remember rightly can all have different channels on simulateously.

and dont even get me started on the service these days in the kings head - you have rugby tackle employees to order food.

Majority of those superpubs are shhiiitttteeeeee for watchin matches in. Go find a small quiet venue with a friendly barman that wont mind turning on the TV for you.

do you want to know something ridiculous!
i tried M.T. Pockets , which i would consider small enough and quiet at 1 o'clock on a sunday.
