Anyone bought Cameras in Dubai?

I am going to Dubai (Honeymoon) in October and am wondering if anyone ever bought camera gear there? I know the place aint cheap but does anyone know if it might is worth checking out camera gear (looking at getting the 30D soon).

Not sure about prices et al, but no harm in looking, if your buying, then make sure you get an international warranty... That's about it really!

There's a thread about a page or 2 back about buying abroad, might be worth while checking out
