      Nope. Wireless communication was around before Marconi took credit for it. The actual inventor was only recently acknowledged...

      I'll accept Tesla. He was a number of years ahead of Marconni in terms of wireless transmission experiements.
      Alexanader Popov, another pioneer in the field stated:
