    Hi everyone,
I've been getting highlights done in my hair for nearly a year now and it's gone really dry, when I wash it it just pouffs out. I'm wondering can anyone recommend a good shampoo and conditioner that will make it soft and give it moisture while protecting the colour? It's also very thick so I'm having a hard time keeping it anyways manageable.
    Thanks

    Nala

Try Sunsilk shampoo+conditioner for blonde hair, I use the brunette one and I find it works really well. If you're willing to spend a bit more money try John Frieda's Sheer Blonde (I think it's called) which is apprently very good also.

Oh yeah, Keratase anything is amazing, leaves your hair feeling so different from it's dryness.

The Aussie 3min Miracle is fab - it really puts the softness back into your hair. For a real treat leave it in your hair overnight.

I use TreSemme and Aussie Three Minute Miracle.

The best conditioner in the world is OLIVE OIL (top hairdressers know this) - you run a wet comb through your hair before bed then apply olive oil from the mid-end lengths - you can mix it with conditioner cos it doesn't smell that nice. Then use an old scrunchy (I know we don't use them anymore) or a soft hair bobble to loosely tie up your hair. Go to bed.
In the morning wash your hair twice (as they do in the hairdressers) and condition as normal. You will see a noted difference in the condition of your hair. It's messy but worth it and it does completely wash out! (pillowcase included). Do it once a week. :)

Yes, Sheer Blonde is briliant, and so is TreSemme, which I use. The only thing about Sheer Blonde (or any John Freida shampoo/conditioners) is that it's quite expensive, 8-10 euro per bottle! I do the olive oil thing every two weeks, and personally I think it's better than John Freida, and not half as expensive.
