I was googling alternative energy and came across this site and joined - hence you won't have seen me before. I'm looking to see if anybody knows about converting a standard oil fired boiler (home or central heating oil) to run on rapeseed?

Has anybody got an online link that explains the technicalities of it? I'm a marine engineer so I'm willing to do it myself and pass on any and all information I get out of it.

google "Bioheat" for starters. The use of biodiesel type fuels can work in oil fired boilers but there are some considerations that need to be taken.
