Difficult to say for definite, but www.corkgigs.com has a fairly comprehensive list of gigs around cork. Dont know any pubs off the top of my head that do live rock/alt bands every Saturday, though you won't go far wrong checking what's on in Fred Zep's (between the South Mall and Parliament Bridge); the Cruiscin would be another good bet.
