green and blue inputs for surround sound?

Hi, Bought a new HD tv last night and noticed that the surround sound inputs have two extra inputs coloured blue and green respectively along with the normal red white yellow. Anyone tell me what these extra inputs do? Cheers

It's unlikely that your TV has blue/green surround sound inputs.

The red/white are normal stereo audio
the yellow is most likely composite video

Are you sure the blue and green are not component video inputs?
