What's the strangest place you ever met a bf/gf?

I work in a call center doing telephone surveys (don't hate me!), and today I was talking to this really nice guy who did the survey. He was a few years older than me and by the end of it we were both just laughing and he was asking if I had a bf... Anyways I knew my supervisor was monitoring me on that call so I cut him short, but I started thinking on the way home it'd be a really strange way to meet someone.... anyone ever met someone like that or any other weird/strange situations??

The first time I saw my husband I threw a paint scraper at his head...it went pooiiiinnng in the wood frame of a door about 3mm from his left ear a la indian tomahawk style...hey, I was having a bad day. It certainly gave us something to talk about when we bumped into eachother a month or so later...:o

I was watching this hot young Scandinavian woman make her way onto the plane from London to Glasgow, giving her boarding pass to the stewardess, thinking how unbelievably scrumptious she was. Then I got on the plane and my seat was next to hers. And the rest was historic sex.

I met my husband in somebody's basement! Love telling that one!

Of course there's more to it. Went to watch his band rehearse. Turned out they needed a lead singer. Got a date with him and got my band all in one night!

Of course the band is now defunct. Drummer has 5 kids. Lead guitarist married a psycho. Tried playing with other musicians, but the feeling just wasn't the same.
    Ah, memories.

I think he married you cos you scare him to death! LOL :p

I once met someone on MSN. She lived in France but came over here twice for the physical side of things... Then it got too difficult with the distance so we broke up...

I've often gone out with girls I worked with also... To hell with the whole "don't sh!t where you eat"... Although it did cost me a job once...

Haha, remember once some bird from O2 called me to do a survey. Twas the last day of the exams in college in January last year, it was about 5pm and I was headin home for a pre- club rest fairly rubbered (wid been drinking since 11am). Get a call from Suzanne from O2, spend the next half hour waffling away "Suzanne? Thats one of my favourite names! "Why thank you! Would ya mind taking a survey?" "And listen to your lovely voice gorgeous? Not a problem" and 25 minutes more of this nonsense :)

Asked her for her number, she politely declined, even though i protested "ah come on, sure you already have my number seein as you called me, its only fair!". In the background I could hear a few of her workmates listenin in giggling at her first drunk call, but i didnt give a sh1te :D

Work in a call centre myself now, aint nothin that gets English birds wetter than a smooth talking Irishman on the phone :) Gives ya a good buzz when you read the customer feedbacks and its full of "sexy irish accent" and all this. Unfortunately most of my callers dont really have foxy accents. The posh Keira Knightley type ones from London and Surrey, or the mouthy ones from Essex and Jennifer Ellison types from Liverpool occasionally give you the horn, but generally nothin much.:(

Anyway, met my bird in the waiting room of the STI clinic.......

I met my wife in Leggs on Leeson Street.

In the past I've dated: a girl I met while out walking my dog (now an ex-dog); a girl I met standing on the sideline at a match and a girl in a shop (she was counting coins and had them in stacks, which I knocked over).
