Can anyone tell me how to rip audio from a Mpeg vid

Audacity will allow you to do that. Just set it to record "What you hear" and play the vid. Just don't have anything else playing at the same time (mail notifiers, msn popups) or that will be recorded too

Works for me. Might be easier ways but at least this is freeware. Comes in handy to record streaming audio media.
