I signed up 4 Sky Digital Online...then what??

    Hi Guys,

    I just ordered Sky Digital online last night (3rd July). Is it normal that I haven't received an email or call from Sky to confirm my order? I entered in all the required details and gave them the credit card details....I'm getting a little concerned!

    Anyone know how long it takes b4 Sky acknowledge an order from their website? Am I mad or are you supposed to receive an email or call from Sky to confirm an order??

    I'm thinking you would get at least an automated email from Sky saying 'something', perhaps send email to them just to make sure they got your order?

    Rang SKY this morning....they didn't receive the details via their website...rediculous when you think about it. Anyway I made the order over the phone...installation on the 12th. At least its sorted now. :)

    I ordered Sky+ with multiroom online 2 days ago and received no confirmation from Sky. After reading this thread I was prompted to ring them to confirm the order. They had no record of it on the system. Had to reorder the whole thing over the phone. Thank God I read this thread or I would have been waiting weeks for it! Turns out now I'm getting it a day earlier than expected, on the 17th.

    And I thought I was the only person with that problem. SKY should sort their database out - I thought the idea of a database was to collect information. :confused:

    Well, my friend ordered Sky online a day before me and her order actually went through. She got her viewing card in the post today. I hope that mine arrives this week because I'm getting it installed before her. Does it ever happen that your installer brings your viewing card?

    Yes it does, only happens around Christmas when the post goes crazy!!
