    intresting would like to see benchmarks if it makes a real diffrence?
    its out a long time with no real hype, 26 march wounder is it any good.

    The time stamp on the driver it installs has a date of 27/06/2006.

    It isn't an optimizer but a compatibility fix for older games (& a few new ones!) which would have a variety of problems on dual core systems due to a timing issue, the most common symptom was a stuttering effect. A few software based fixes became popular to address the issue which worked for most folks.

    The same problem was supposed to have been addressed in a post SP2 hotfix (not available on Windows Update) released by Microsoft though.

    Took them long enough to release this but I'm glad they did at least.
