Kitten's - does worming result in Diarrhoea?

Hi - I found a kitten last week, took him to the vets and she vaccinated and wormed him. He has had diarrhoea since Friday and I wondered could the worming have caused this? He seems to be in a bit of pain when he goes so I am a bit worried. Am going to ring the vets later but just wondered if anyone would know? Thanks

It could be the dead worms or something when he has to go but definately good idea to ask your vet.
