It should have the Plus or Link logos on the back:

If not then go into the bank and request a new one.

Used mine in scotland recently... be aware that is shows your balance in euros and not £!

AIB charged me each time i took out money and included a currency change fee.

Just so you are aware!

I'm fairly sure AIB shouldn't charge you for UK atm use (maybe you were building society machine which do charge)
