I wouldn't really call 00:37 late, give it about 4 hours then I'm asleep.

Well at night when my girlfriend has gone to bed, I treasure the hour or two that I get to myself and in particular the time I get to play some games guilt free. I was going to play tonight but my headphones are broken and I can't have the speakers loud enough, so that's a tad crap but there you go.

Self employment coupled with a home office can, given time, wreck any sort of social sleep pattern.

I wouldn't mind but I'm not even doing much work.

Two weeks of nausiating 8am starts are in order me thinks

so can being a media student and a barman, no reason to get out of bed until around 6oclock anyday that is unless there is some huge sport event i have to groggly wake up for at about 3pm.

work and social life only ever begins then tbh

    The Summer holidays have made me nocturnal so I now have a pattern of: /Boards - /check e-mail - /play deathmatches of Timesplitters 3 - /boards - /watch a movie - /e-mail - /boards - /e-mail - /Timesplitters 3 - /boards - (/movie -) /e-mail - /boards - /sleep.

I just finished watching John Carpenter's The Thing, with Kurt Russel (oh the glory) so according to the pattern I should check my e-mail and then go on boards... Done. Now I should check my e-mail again and then play Timesplitters.

I once heard a story about some college age guy who worked on computers at home (his parents' home) and covered the windows of his room with bin bags, to block the light, so that he could sleep and live on his own schedule and not be "messed up" by the natural rise and fall of the sun. But in the end this messed him up so bad that he ended up having to put a small hole in the bin bags, to let some light though, just so he could tell what time of the day it was.

The birds singing give it away for me, if I didn't check the clock, it could be any time of day and I would not know. Oh and nocturnal ftw.

Maybe I should buy some bin bags...

Why still up? I could claim to have an active mind that keeps me awake, or a significant other who won't let me sleep, or the fact that I drink too much java. Then again, if you consider that I am about 8 times zones to the west of you all, then the current time that I am up (relative to yours) is not so impressive.:D
