Alloy Wheel Drill Pattern (PCD Value)

I'm not familiar with the world of after market wheels. I notice this PCD value associated with the drill pattern. So, I presume that when buying a set of second hand wheels the drill pattern would have to match exactly. Or, would a near match suffice i.e. PCD 5X100 ~PCD 5X112?

Another factor to consider is Offset. The offset needs to be the same as what you've already got too, or your wheel bearings won't last pi$$ing time. And if it's REALLY far out, there's even a possibility of snapping your hubs off from the stress loading!:eek:
