Curing an Emo

    Hey

I recently discovered that one of my friends is actually in secret an emo.

I never knew cause first of all he doesnt look like your stereotypical emo and secondly despite being a moody grumpy person in real life he is a complete and very disturbing emo whenever he is behind a computer. He has kept it hidden from me when ever i have talked to him online but i have recently discovered his blog and also some of our mutual friends have sent me transcripts (cause i didnt believe them) of his messenger conversations with him and it seems with everyone else except me he is whiney depressing git who has no self esteem and talks of gloom doom and how his mind and life is messed up etc etc.

So i am in a state of shock, he's an emo...or part emo, or infected with a emo disease or something.

So how do i cure it, do i need to tape him to a chair and cut his ear off or something? I assume cause he doesnt do it as much (like i said he is a moody grumpy person in real life.) around me i assume i have some connection i can abuse to squeeze his emo side out?

So any success stories of de-emoing people cause it is quite disturbing, and scaring pretty much everyone else who knows him away.

It involves an old barrell, some bamboo, a knife and 50 or so gallons of salt water...

Pah, Emo is just punk/goth lite. Play him the entire works of Leonard Cohen and leave him to it.

    Mike.

strap him to a chair and force him to listen to looped tracks of steps, gina g , kylie and rick ashley. dont know if it'll cure him but you'll get a laugh out of his facial contortions

What you gotta do is offer him an alternative life stlye, perhaps get him stoned and see if he takes to it :D. Rather be a stoner than an emo any day. LOL

kick him in the nuts and then play some death metal :D

Please don't get Emo mixed up with Punk.

Heh heh, that would definately worsen things!
I reckon a good whipping with My Chemical Romance playing loudly in the background may sort it out. Then he'll associate the music with a very unpleasant experience and drop it.

Or it could make him more miserable and have a worse effect than myspace would...
    meh...
