Tribeca Cashout bull****

Playing on Tribeca, Golden Palace Poker, trying to cash out about $1600 after clearing the bonus.

I click to cashout, 3 days later I get an email asking for proof of identity. An annoyance, but nothing out of the ordinary for some sites. For a cashout on a previous site I had scanned a bank statement showing name and address, and I'd also scanned my drivers licence. So I email these to GP Poker security people.

I hear nothing for another couple of days, so I log into GPP and start up the manager chat. I ask if I can get an update on my cashout status, explaining that I have already sent in the required scans for verification.

The Rep says that I need to sent in Photo ID, bank statement and a utility (gas/electric) bill showing my name and address.
I have my address listed as my parents house, and therefore I don't pay the electricity bill or any shite like that.

    What can I do?

Do you have a driver's licence? If so, they may accept a scan of that as proof of address.

I've already sent them a scan of my drivers licence and a scan of my bank statement. The 'live manager chat' tart said this wouldn't be enough. I haven't heard back from security@pokerhosts.com which apparently is the security side of things for GPP.

Tribecca sucks dick. Hope this will help in your cashout.

Presuming your surname is the same as your parents :D ... send them the utility bill anyway, and say you live with your parents.

Surely they are just checking if the account is genuine, so they shouldn't be too concerned if the bill isn't in your name specifically.

That would involve me driving to my parents house, getting a bill, driving somewhere to scan it, putting it on a USB key, getting home, then emailing the file. Far too much hassle.

ur going to be cashing out $1600, not that much hassle really!
and why block my post about rakeback on vc, i play on vc. just wondering if the site offered it. wats the point of the forum, if u can't even get a bit of simple info, sometimes the mods on boards go overboard, big time.

Do you have an account with another tribecca site which is easier to cash out from? If so go to an empty cash table, get one of your mates to log into the other account, and dump the money preflop. That way there is no rake charged.

I brought this up with a tribeca site and they said there is a chance you could get your money frozen if you do this.

If you go to a manager and ask them to transfer the money to another account they may do this for you not knowing the freeze on the money, long shot maybe.

As far as I know alot of the different skins on Tribeca deal with the money themselves so it may be hard for one skin to freeze your money if you dump it to a different cage, not 100% on this one tho.

One of my friends has 10k frozen at the moment after doing this, so I wouldnt advise it

VC is kinda pissing me off too as they can't change my account from €'s to $'s. I'm getting screwed on the exchange rates when i'm lodging/withdrawing for their "reload bonuses". I can however set up a new account in $'s if I wish! Makes no sense tbh.

Dumping funds to another account on the Tribeca network is a bad idea. Very bad.

I can understand its frustrating situation. I put down wrong billing address when signing up for ladbrokes and had same proceedures required.

Tbh I find the best approach is the personal one. Since it has absoloutely nothing to do with tribecca and it is the specific skin security practice, give Golden Palace Customer support a call. Instead of being angry (even if u are), try be as nice and accomodating as possible and the human being (just like you!) on the other side is more likely to help you quicker than if you are angry!!

racingpostpoker allows credit card cashouts - usually takes 2 days, never had a problem

(then again, I never get to cashout much...)

You really should just read the charter. Start of post 2 by an "overboard" mod deals with rakeback questions.

Dave Im rather suprised at you coming out with something like this. I would tend to agree that it is rather convoluted to get your money out of GPP I had this problem myself. But advocating chip dumping is NOT the answer unless you dont want to get your money out at all.

This is ridiculous. I was lucky enough to get $750 up to 7K on UB after my first deposit within a month. I cashed it all out and had zero problems getting my money. I must have played on 25 different internet sites and Tribecca seem to be the only network with cashout problems.

The info you've already sent them should be more than sufficient. Does it say anywhere in the terms and conditions of the cashier on their site that you will have to go through this rectal probing any time you want your money?

    ****in' Jopke!

I actualy don't see a problem with it. Just transferring money.. Chip dumping is something done in tournaments to give one player an edge. This is just moving money. Not harming anyone, and only using up a bit of processing power on the tribeca servers! You make enough rake off us.. If you had a member to member funds transfer option like most other sites then I'm sure there'd be no reason for people to do this!

I think it is scandalous that these sites make it so difficult for someone to withdraw their own money from their own accounts. I have pretty much stopped playing on Tribeca because of this kind of messing, although I keep a few quid in an account in case a particularly good tournament comes up.

    exactly

If it wasnt made so hard to make transactions then people wouldnt be forced into these stupid other options

few months back i wanted to lodge money into my a/c using my dads credit card as there was a tournie i really wanted to play but had cleaned my a/c . . . having been told i couldnt do this the other end of the fone told me that if my dad had an a/d under his name its ok
i ring back 30 seconds later, same voices on either end of the line and say i want to set up an a/c for my dad, i do so and play the tournie etc. Due to stupid rules i opened two a/c's knowingly to the PPP operator/manager

this other a/c has since bn closed, jus another example of how stupid it is nad how bending the rules is commonly done !!

We dont have fund to fund transfer. We do have t's and c's. We do not permit passing chips. If a player is caught passing funds they will be ejected from the site and banned indefinitely.
PPP dont have convoluted withdrawal methods so - unsubscribe. :)

If I win a tournie tonight, what is the earliest I can withdraw the winnigs?
