Double Bed: Where do you sleep?

So folks, imagining your on your own and you're sleeping in your double bed.. do you sleep to one side? Do you have a "side" if you usually share your bed?

Personally I just sleep right in the middle, unless sharing the bed. I've never had to have a "side" and I find the notion odd though I understand why one would choose one, I guess. Like, which side is better?!

I usually sleep diagonally across the bed if im alone, or on the inside if i gots compay.

But secretly i hate sleeping on t'inside

Dont really have a side, sleep all over the place and normally end up with the blanket on the floor. My wife secretly hates me

If he's away i sleep on his side.

We never really "chose" sides.. It just ended up with him on one side on me on the other!

in the middle! and if sharing I don't care what side, unless the bed is next to the wall and then I sleep on the outside (if I'm allowed to!)

If the bed is up against a wall I sleep on the side closest to the wall, if it's in the middle of the room I sleep on whichever side seems to have less space surrounding it. I like to feel closed in. If I'm sharing I do the same.

When I am sharing a bed I am normally on the right, on my own, em, I usually just pick a bit of the bed and stay there all night, I don't move around much when I sleep.

The worst feeling in the world's when you're juuuust abput to fall asleep and they move.
I've never slept in a double bed with a fella it's always been a single :eek:

I'm restricted to the left side, although I find most nights she encroaches on to my side leaving me with a few inches. Are all Woman so selfish when it comes to bed space. I sometimes get up because I'm nearly on the floor anyway and when I go back she's doing the diaganol thing.What's that about?

somethin i noticed a lot when i was younger with my own parents and mates parents is that when you stand at the bottom of the bed looking towards the pillows at the opposite end, the mother was on the right and dad on the left. odd but ive seen it in loads of places.

me personally i prefer to be against the wall and if its in the middle of the room i dont care once i have lots of space to myself. cant sleep with someone too near.

Ok this bit was left unlear by the OP. Are you saying you sleep on the left from the POV that you're lying down in the bed or looking at the bed from the bottom of it?

If from the POV of lying down I always sleep on the right, always have in all of my beds, I can't sleep any other way...unless I've been drinking

I sleep all over the bed when alone, and it changes whenever the fella stays over. But he has a side in his place, which got me wondering... and thread startin'.

any time i have a woman in the bed, she insists on the inside (the bed is beside the wall) and i end up being slowly edged out and just give up and sleep in one of the other rooms or on the couch.
