PS2 not working - please help!

    Hi All

    My PS2 is broken...!

    When I put a cd in you can hear a "eh eh eh eh eh eh eh" noise but it won't detect it!

    I've tried all sorts of cds with the same result.

    It's one of the original PS2s and I really don't want to get a new one, with the PS3 out later this year!

    Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

    I had a similar problem and dropped mine into Book and game exchange on Talbot st they fixed it for €50, It now works perfectly, Hope that helps

    LOL you could buy a second hand, slimline for that :rolleyes:

    My advice is, check boards for people selling em' ;)
