Place midway between Dublin and Galway

hi all. wonder if someone had any ideas of a place to say which is halfway(roughly but probably nearer to galway than dublin) between galway and dublin. looking for some b&b, self-catering place in a nice village. One of those places that people should visit more because of its beauty or nearest to landmarks but just…
