I think there was some stupid rule that they could only print a 1000 copies of each issue.. not sure if that's still in place.

I dont think there has ever been an Irish Edition of Playboy as our market is too tiny for it.

Im pretty sure we get the American edition.

The last time I looked at a Playboy was mabye 2000 and it was pure rubbish...filled with adds for cigarattes and American football reviews!...with mabye 20 pages of pictures at best....pure waste of time.

I think there was some rule like 999 copies or something...which at the time was nonsense as every man wanted a copy when it was made "legal"....but Im pretty sure if they sell 999 copies of each edition they would be lucky these days.

Edit:
I did hear something about a special edition filled with Irish girls on the news.
Personially I think it should be widened to anyone living in Ireland.....for some quality polish/Czech girls

They photographed a few women in Ireland a few years ago in the Merrion Hotel. None got offered magazine work or payment. Didn't stop them putting the stuff up on their website though. I presume you'd need to pay for that section of the site though.

Used to have a copy of it myself as I knew one of the girls doing the shoot. It was way back in 2001 if I remember correctly. Some of the photos were laughable though!

Well there was an audition over the weekend for the Irish playboy, only a handful of Irish turned up. The more famous ones who did turn up were the two from the ****ed in Ireland Movie...This was in the Star on Sunday, page 2 & 3.

haha. those ****ed in Ireland were in Texaco (South Lotts) a couple of weeks in bakini's, charging a tenner for a car wash. They're below average looking and 2 of them are actually Englush.
