How to store wine for three months?

Hi,

Getting married in August and supplying our own wine. Sale on in Tesco's at the moment so we'll be picking up about 100 bottles pretty soon - red and white. How should we store these? Will they be OK in normal 'house' conditions for this period or should they be stored somewhere more appropriate. Note that we have no cellar or similar contantly cool room. Storing upright is alright I presume? AFAIK they're plastic corked.

They will be fine. Maybe store "under the stairs" or somewhere that has a consistent temperature.

Unfortunately I don't have an 'under the stairs'! Would they be alright in, say, the kitchen?

Temperature changes in the kitchen will not be good.
Do you have a wardrobe in a spare room? Ideally one that doesn't get any sun. Turn the radiators off.

Over a short period of three months, unless they are subject to a great variation in temperature or are in direct sunlight, they will be fine. Choose the area of the house with the least temperature variation and keep them in the cardboard boxes that you brought them in.

Turn them on their side to keep the corks from drying out.
