High heels are very in at the moment - they always have been really.

I suggest getting a dressy top with a jacket over it and maybe a matching skirt. Make sure it's not short though.

You could also buy a nice dress with high heels.

Go for suttle colours and avoid patterns. It depends on what age you are too.

    Go to the skirt/dresses section

I'm 27, Was going with the high heels alright, but I'm not the dress or skirt type I'm afraid. Would feel more comfortable in jeans or trousers....Dark jeans maybe???

My choice with be a dress, but nice, well-cut, wide-leg tousers with a pretty silk top and nice heels would work as well. Shops like Oasis have pure silk tops now, and they're not as expensicve as you might expect - sometimes as little as €50/60. :)

I think dress sounds good. What ever you do don't go for the BLACK trousers and light coloured top option (in fact any top that isn't black). Always looks a bit naff and at times can look rather cheap.

A wear have nice dresses at the moment. Get one of their wrap dresses with a pair of heels and either a light summer coat or a cute cardie.

i think if you want to really impress, the skirt/dress option is the only choice, not saying you wont look great anyway..
