Not sure where to post this so im going to take a guess at here! Its my 18th birthday in about 2 months and im thinking about hiring out a function room for it, the slight problem being that I have no idea where to start looking for one. Does anyone know of any good function rooms? It would have to be able to hold about 200 people, and maybe a bouncy castle (i know, i have the mental age of a five year old. But it will be fun! Drink + bounciness!) And does anyone know how much its going to cost to hire one? And if you have any more ideas of stuff to do for my 18th they would be appreciated!

Drunken bouncy caslte?! sounds like an insurance nightmare, not to mention a sure-fire recipie for synchronised vomiting ;)
There have been a ton of threads on Afterhours with suggestions on where to host birthday parties... try the search feature.

Dont book a room. Waste of money. Just "purchase" a table in a bar. I mean go there early and keep a group of tables going between yourself and your mates.
