I don't think the EP will survive if it insists on being a 3 day only event at the start of September. Too many alternatives where you can go for 1 or 2 days.

I think it will survive if it continues to churn out lineups like last year. The most important thing about any festival is the lineup, not how long the thing lasts or what type of tickets are available.

If they had announced a lineup up as strong as last years during the launch, most people wouldnt have cared if it was a 3 day festival or not.

There's absolutely no way this is true. According to SP's own website, they're going to be recording during the summer. End.

Not an argument for them playing but Summer begins next Monday and EP is on in the Autumn ;)

I just want to know who is actually in the band as it didnt say anything bout it on the website? I know before it was only Billy and Jimmy as the original members, but has that changed or anything?

This is ridiculous. Billy and D'arcy playing an acoustic set at Electric Picnic.... Its just beyond words how unlikely this is.

Anyone have Hotpress membership? I saw The Rapture were playing over on efestivals website, but can anyone tell us what they have listed in this article?

Coldcut (Live), DJ Andrew Weatherall, Michael Franti and Spearhead, Laurent Garnier (Live), Hot Chip, Metro Arena, Radio Soulwax: Nite Versions, Sparks, and Tiefschwartz are added. Nothing that really tickles my fancy.

The Rapture were among these new confirmations but sure, weren't they already announced?

They may have, but I dont think its listed on the official website.

I heard most of the acts on there, most of them have been announced as the Bodytonic acts. But hadnt heard about Hot Chip. Very happy about that. Saw them supporting Goldfrapp and they blew me away!

They played last year too, as far as I remember!
