anyone seen the signs that are all over oconnell st now?

anyone know if its for real,
    are they towing bikes etc......

i always park on that street,
safest place to park in the city imo.

I've seen the signs and I haven't parked on it since they did up the street. They have some bike parking beside the GPO but it's always full and seems to be cluttered with bicycles. Personally I park the bike outside the tourist office on Suffolk Street. Always gardai around and lots of people.

just park outside the gpo, no "no bikes" signs & plenty of guards about

Those signs are up a while, loads of motorcycles still park there. Park at the side of the GPO, or go down Abbey Street, turn right across the LUAS tracks, up Liffey street (past Hector Greys), and park at the side of Arnotts. That's where i park. Offically were allowed to park at any bicycle park, there's one there

If it's not too far to walk, could always park near Pearse St Garda station. Not too many scotes hanging around there.

Noticed on my way home yesterday that there is motorcycle parking on Burgh Quay, river side, before right turn onto O'Connell Bridge.
Also motorbike parking on Upper Ormond Quay, just before Grattan/Capel St Bridge on Capel St side.
