Strangest thing that has ever happened to you or you have seen on public transport?

That picture of the old dude with his cacks around his ankles on the nite link has made me remember this.

I was on the 130 coming home from work one night about 10 pm and the bus stops outside St Anne's Park. A few people get on the bus, and the bus driver was about to pull off, all of a sudden A man, starts shouting "CAN I GET ON THE BUS? CAN I GET ON THE BUS?. I looked up to see what the commotion was, and oh my God, there he was in the suit he was born in apart from a black baliclava. I had to rub my eyes a few times to make sure I wasn't hullicinating visions of naked men. He was jumping all over the shop, his manly bits flailing around the place :rolleyes: Me and my friend from work just sitting there unable to speak. Then, the naked dude, as if he said nothing turned around and walked off the bus.

Of course we had a female driver, so we were delayed by about 30 seconds as she sat there trying to piece together what just happened and as she pulls off, we drive by a parked car, in the front seat a guy was getting dressed and the other guy was filming it him on his cam corder. Complete madness, had to give my number to the bus driver, but I never heard anything about it again.

i was on the way to u2 in slane on a double decker dublin bus. Anyway, this guy upstairs at the back decided he had to go for a piss and didnt want to ask the bus to stop. So, he pisses into a quinnsworth plastic bag while sitting in his seat, then he opens the window, You know the small narrow ones up on top of the main windows. The ones you pull down and they fold down at an angle. Well, he tries to throw the bag out the window but it wouldnt fit and instead it just folded open, due to the huge weight of piss and emptied out all over some unlucky girl sitting beside him. The bus was in hysterics as they were both soaking wet. They had to sit there in the same seats due to the bus being completely full.

mine is a bit more sinister...getting the dart home about 11 one night with a mate of mine and these Brass Monkies get on at connelly station and sit in the four seats just in front to the left of us..
and they start banging up..i have seen this before no big deal just ignored it..then i hear a scream and jump up one of the filthy animals was trying to shoot in to his foot and managed to rupture his vein...
fcuking blood pumping out all over the place..so there was bit of a commotion and he limped of with his 2 junk infested mates at harmonstown and of they went.....animals..imagine having to clean that up.

I was on the 31 and the bus in front of us broke down so everyone from that bus had to change onto our bus. This meant that the bus was really packed so the driver didn't stop at any more stops into town.
We had just passed a crowded bus stop and were stopped at traffic lights when a man from the stop we just paseed ran up and kicked the whole door of the bus in- glass everywhere, children screaming. Good times!

walking down the quays on my birthday down past the haypenny bridge and that. hear a massive crash and duck, look around and a bus has mounted the kerb, smashed its wing mirror off the building (glass spraying everywhere) and is heading straight towards us. The driver spotted us and managed to swerve back out missing us by about 3 feet. rang dublin bus to complain and the idiot on the phone asked me to desrcibe the driver!! So I asked her exactly how many buses came back that day with no mirrors !!???

This one didnt happen to me but a girl I know was in new york on the subway and sat opposite her was a middle aged black man wearing a suit and tie - also had his trouser legs rolled up and wearing high heels, lipstick and carrying a toaster.

The wierdest I saw was somone getting their hair set on fire, also one night bus where the back half of the upstairs started kicking the head off each other, that bus ended up in tallaght garda station (the driver just floored it straight there) and the cops lifted about half of the upstairs people.

Years ago was getting the bus out from limerick centre to caherdavin and and was sitting at the back when i noticed that there was water leaking up out of the engine bay and pouring along the floor. said it to the driver on the way out and he just went its a wet day its just rain water.

THe bus wasn't even a 100 yards up the road when there was this bang as the engine gave up the ghost due lo and behold to an empty radiator

ABout 3 years ago I was in town and I had to get the bus back out to Finglas as I had forgotten my change of clothes for going out that night. I was standing on Upper Gardiner st (8:30pm on a cold October night) and this homeless guy started hassling me. He was really freaking me out, asking me for money and where do I live and would I get him drink. I hailed the first bus that came up the road and I told the driver I would get off at the next stop as I was trying to get away from the drunk homeless guy. He asked me where was I going so I told him what part of Finglas it was. He emptied the bus at Finglas village and drove the bus up to my house!

On a bus eireann bus heading down the country, a completely respectful looking young man starts masterbating under his jacket, takes out his hand,wipes it openly in a hanky,then goes again a while later after a few more seats around him had become vacant for obvious reasons!

Whwn I get lost in Dublin, which rarely happens

, I hop on a bus to ask them which bus I should take and most the time they just say they will take a little detour to bring me there. Some very nice drivers around.
I remember asking somebody where busaurus was ages ago(when I was up last time, I know, I'm a fool). He was an old dude that patted me on the shoulder after telling me, telling me to look after myself, heh.
