2 monitors 7800gtx ? no Dual view

ok i just got a new monitor, one of those dell 24" (amazing screen btw) so i want to setup 2 monitors on the one machine, i have done this before on other pc's with no problem. however when i go into the properties of my display the 7800 gtx i have no dual view option ( which i think is the one i want) i want to be able to have different resolutions on the 2 screens.

where is this option gone or am i looking for the wrong thing

In NVIDIA's control panel under desktop management do you have the nView desktop manager enabled ?

If not click that then run the setup wizard linked to on the same screen.

If your still stuck take a look at the nView PDF on NVIDIA's website along with the display properties PDF.

ok i solved it, no dual view option but after a reboot i could select the different monitors in display properties and i just had to click extend my windows desktop onto this monitor
