i put in a dvd wit mp3 music on it like a fool and then it would not work with any game after it.... blue screen comes up cant read games....?

That shouldn't have damaged the PS2. How old is the PS2? Could be a dirty/broken laser. Try running a DVD lens cleaner through it, you can pick one up in HMV for under a tenner.
