Best Open Source Wiki ?

Hi, I would very much appreciate your thoughts on this. I installed the open source wiki that is behind Wikipedia and I just don't find that an 'administrator' has enough clout. I would like to restrict users creating accounts, anyone have experience setting up a wiki ?

You will need to edit the file LocalSettings.php. Most customisations to the configuration of MediaWiki are done there.

Put this at the bottom of the file before the terminal '?>' (It's a good idea to keep all customistations together.)
$wgGroupPermissions['*']['edit'] = false;
That will force users to create an account to edit the wiki.
