Just curious how this website still exists?

I mean the html/page layout was always pretty rubbish and I was sure that when ebay.ie launched it would be the final nail in the coffin .. but it still continues to exist ?
    What gives?

    yeah exactly !

One wonders is this an actual business website or is it an individual not willing to give it up ?

Very few people are actually placing items to be auctioned on it anymore (and understandably so). It's dying a slow death, which is unfortunate because it's an irish business AFAIK.

I bought something off it not long after it had first launched.
there were a good few active members then.

Now it's just a pile of poo.
