GPS - Multi use

    First of all - apologies if this is in the wrong place but feel free to move!

    I am looking to get a GPS set - parents are visiting sister in Singapore in a few weeks and I'll see if I can get one out there.

    Mainly it'll be used in the car for long journeys etc. (so mapping will be handy) but I will also want to use it for hill walking and maybe sometimes at sea (sailing or diving just to mark waypoints).

    I kind of like the idea of a Pocket PC with a GPS attachment for some other functionality but obviously finances will determine this!

    Can anyone recommend a few units that I can read up on and get a few prices together?
