    2 all in before me, another 5k to call, i know ive got value to calbut at the back of my mind im thinking if i call and lose im down to 8k with the sb to go. fold ive 12k just above avg to play with, call and win im up to 32k approx. Should i have called here because i had pot odds to call? even though my hand was weak?...instinct was call, no brainer fold...i folded btw

    Don't look at the results... you couldn't justify calling for half your stack with 45o imo.

    For me it's as simple as that... I don't think about Pot odds when there's a good chance I'll be playing the board...

    You're being too results orientated. As LegendDIT said, it's calling for half your stack with a pile of sh1te.
    Only things that might make me gamble are the distance from the money (45 players left?) and you have about 5 BB's left.

    This is purely about pot odds, since you will be all in and there will be no more betting after the flop. If you call there will be 17,740 chips in the main pot and 6,380 in the side. It costs you 5,370 to call.

    The first guy should have any two cards here. Somewhat arbitrarily I put the second guy on any pair or A8s/KTs or ATo/KJo or better and ran it through pokerstove. You win the main pot about 21% of the time and the side pot about 31% of the time, giving you back about 5700 in chips. Probably this is a slight overestimate, since the first guy might not be pushing with any two, which would make your call break even on average.

    I was going to say you should call with any two cards here but it looks like folding 45o is OK here. If you had 45 suited or something like Q7o you should call.

    ty for that reply.. i was not concerned with the outcome out the hand, but weather or not the pot odds was the correct call. tookURcookie is a good player maybe i gave to much repect for the fold..ty for replies.
