Ill probably vote Fianna Fail because I see them as the 'least worst' option tbh. Who are the 'United Irish party', never heard of them?

I vote Labour, they seem to be the one that fits most closely with my political views.

Afraid I'll be spoiling my vote once again (deliberate, not just incompetence) - although in terms of local government it's Labour for me.

They are no more, apparently. Tis a pity - they lightened up the ballot box sheet yoke!

As for who I will vote for, tmust remain a secret!

I see. But would this help first-time buyers get a foot on the property market?

i put the green party down, but i'd probably vote labour. i like my local politician to be the type of person who frequently visits young men at the popes cross in the phoenix park.

The Communist party or else the Christian Solidarity Party.

2 parties with very similar outlooks. :D

i'll vote for whatever party who's member will actually look for my vote - ie come canvassing at my door. never in all my life has a politician come a callin! makes me feel all unwanted and cold inside...:(

I'd vote Fianna Fail. They seem to be doing an ok job with the country.

I'd probably stick Sinn Fein in second because they seem to be interested in listening to people and I believe they've left the gun behind now.

It's good that we have so many parties, we've great choice in this country.

Looking at the poll so far, I hope this is not a reflection of the country vote, the last thing this country needs is Sinn Fein/IRA getting a large number of votes

Pat Rabbite came to our door before the last election... My dad had a chat with him about stuff, cos I was too young :p

I betcha I'll answer the door this time and he'll go "hello son, is mammy or daddy home?" -- bam, door slammed in his face!

    Anywho,

I dunno who I'll vote for... I'm not actually registered to vote (how do I do that?) yet! I'll have to have a think.

agreed - the last thing this country needs is a government that includes gun-runners, a minister for justice who is part of an organisation that dosnt think killing a garda is murder, a minister for defence who thinks the real irish army is based in south armagh, and a minister for finance who hasnt even got a policy. this country needs a change from bertie and co. not so much because of their policies etc., but i think its not healthy for a country to have the same people in power for over 10 years. give the oppostion (FG, labour, greens) four years in charge and see how they get on.

No parties will go into a coalition with SF, so ye needn't worry...

You'll be surprised....FF will need someone and FG will need 2 other parties, the PD's will get less votes next time around, putting SF in a very strong position, they could be the deciding factor on who goes into government....

Me though, I'm going to vote for The Hoff party
