TV Tuner Card - Distroted Reception

I have an ASUS TV/7135 (analog) TV Capture card, primarily for transferring my old Hi8mm camcorder tapes to a digital format, and all that works well. The TV reception however is crap. The picture is fuzzy, and has a white horizontal bar that loops from top to bottom, and the sound is fuzzy. Any ideas? I have a Dell…

I have used Windows Movie Maker and CyberLink's PowerDirector, and the results are the same.

I presume the antenna connection is good - have you tried it with a TV?

Check the capture card is set to PAL-I
