I've no idea if any players currently available support crossfade out of the box, someone like Bard would be know best about that, but any player with Rockbox on it supports crossfade

Crossfade is such a nice feature to have, definitely a big point to take into consideration, non stop music. I'm currently enjoying it with RockBox on my iRiver H140. I know it's implemented on the H3XX too but not too sure if it's on the iAudio/iPod versions yet.

Yes. Rockbox enabled iRivers are the only MP3 players I've heard of that can crossfade, unfortunately. It would be a handy feature alright...

Mind you, next you'll be wanting Automixing with beat-matching :p

Yep, seems people just keep wanting more and more, this has been requested at the rockbox forums... I swear I had nothing to do with it:p

It works pretty well yeah, it doesn't mix beats or slow/speed it up to fit in right but it still works well. Some songs fit in real nice, others (live sets/audio books etc) it's better with it off because it's an endless stream of music anyway, it's gapless too which is very nice:)
