A few times alright... ive got a really weird number so i get them every now and then. Once or twice something sounding vaguely business-like, party stuff and people breaking up with each other... i feel their pain.

Our house phone number used to be right under 'Government Services' in the phone book. It said 'for government services, please see page x', then the next line down was our phone number.
We used to get people ringing up trying to talk to Albert Reynolds!
Luckily someone else joined the phone book between us.

A couple of years ago i recieved an stray txt from a girl who thought she was txting one of her mates. We spent two years,on and off, txtin each other before getting around to meeting face to face. It turned out that she only lived about 20minutes away form me. We wound up seeing each other for a couple of months but it was doomed to destruction as i could never, for some reason, trust her completely. That mistrust was affirmed when i came home from holiday to find a great honking lovebite on her neck and also to find out that she had been the town bicycle for the week that i was away. Suffice to say that she got the high jump after that and i ignore anonymous messages anymore.

My Ex-Boyfriend who I'm still very good friends with, accidently sent me a text message intended for his girlfriend. He called her baby, which is what he also called me when we were an item.

I could just feel his embarrasment when I replied back saying I didn't realise I was still his baby!!!

broke up with a psycho girl before, basicly a stalker, and for about 3 weeks after i would get many "accidental"messages (averaging about 3 a day) saying stuff like "Oh my god that was such a great night last night paul (or mark or john or whatever appostle was on her mind that night), we should do it again some time!! xxx" .... followed by a text or call "Oh im really sorry, that wasn't ment for you!! So how are you anyway?" ..... click

Eventually it turned into her having text sex with some imaginery guy....through my phone....

Accidental me arse! I've never sent a text by accident to someone!! I can understand once and to someone with a simular name...but any more than that and your just acting the bollox!!

i got one from a friend last weekend saying "are you free wednesday? we have alot to talk about...."

now last time we spoke i sort fo asked him out so i was a little kinda surprised we havnt really spoken in months but he followed it pretty quickly with an oops that wasn't meant for you text.

just remember, over christmas, I'd met this girl a few times, and she kept telling me she wanted to emet up again,but then being unavailable, and ten she got drunk and was almost crying on my shoulder telling me how much she liked me....while her boyfriend sat stone-faced across the table.

So the next night one of the lads texted asking how dinner was going, (was supposed to be at hers), and I replied, "The stupid bitch kept putting the time back, so I just cancelled on ehr", and promptly sent it to her phone. Slllllick!

Some of them are priceless. Some are just poo.

If I am texting two people sometimes I'll confuse who to reply to. That often happens with my boyfriend and my best mate. Always makes for a good laugh.

At one stage i was sort of seein two girls, would be txtin em most nights and the amount of times i texted stuff meant for the other wan was unreal, really had to dig my way out of a few dodgy ones.

Also was seein a girl before, nothin serious just loadsa fun:D , and she sent me a txt meant for her friend(another girl) sayin she'd be over to her in an hour with a few bottles of wine and couldn't wait to see her again and finished off with love ya a lot!!!! I can tell ya i couldn't get the thought of seein them again out of my mind,lmao!!

Not so much a text message.. But some dude has his phone diverting to my voicemail instead of his own by accident.. I get left about 6 messages a day for him. Even though I have personalised my greeting with my name, they still leave them for him..

Anyway, he is pestered by some English chick. Often get drunk message conveying love and sometimes message were her crying over crap.. One day thought I got a message with her masturbating on the phone with a vibrator.. Interesting indeed.

There was a time where I sent almost every text message i sent to my girlfriend... no matter who they were directed at. She had to text me back so many times saying "you sent that to me." ... i think she saved it as a template to save herself time.

As far as i remember... i never got myself in trouble.

have sent messages to the wrong people. Left work two hours early one day. then sent a message intended for a collegue to the boss. telling them what to say to the boss if he was looking for me. Got an earfull for that one..

My work phone number used to be the number for a recruitment agency, and who ever was at my desk was called Dave too..

Person - Hi Dave is it?
Me - Eh yeah, how can I help?
Person - Well I was speaking to you last week and just never heard from you again..
Me - Eh...
Person - And I really don't think that you're conducting yourself in the most professional manner.

I've often sent a text to the wrong number, but with no maliciousness so I was covered. I got a couple of wierdo texts though, once off a guy who though I was a girl - Will u wear dat skirt 2nite, Im feelin frisky l8r probably. - which was nice :rolleyes:

they quickly cut that out after i texted their parents off their phones saying "mam, i just got a girl pregnant. what will i do?".

I got a text last nite from some random person saying "yea and whats your problem wid that"?
I'm always doing it though, have gotten myself into trouble a few times.
The best I've heard though, was in the pub with a few friends one nite. One of them started textin me across the table about the other girl. One of the messages said " I think she's got a receding hairline", but she sent it to the girl who's hair was receding! V. amusing for me!

Once I sent a message to a number very similar to my ex's number. Got weeks of entertainment from it. Luckily the other person was also female. She was sending me good night messages for about a week. With a few provocative ones thrown in for good measure. the ex wasn't too happy when she got her hands on my phone. but who cares. lol
