Is this good deal? €60 Play.com mp3 player

Hey,

I'm last on the mp3 player bandwagon, and I just want to get one that would do for the gym/occasional bus and train journeys. So, I'll be steering clear of the 20GB iPods and all, so going for something MUCH smaller!

I'm interested in this one - it's very cheap, it has all the bells and whistles I'd like except for one ... an FM radio. So apart from that, is it a good deal? I had been looking at some Creative Zen ones (muvo? nano? something like that) and they were around €80 for half the memory.

If it's a piece of junk let me know... but perhaps you could recommend something better while you're at it?

As far as I know, Play.com won't deliver electronics outside of the UK.

Shop4Memory have a similar spec'd ones for around the same price. Free shipping, based in Kildare.

it depends on who much the 1 gig version is, but honestly, you could probably pick up a 1 gig mp3 player on ebay, most likely in the original box for a much better price.

the prices are the buy now, so you could probably get one a lot cheaper by bidding smartly

I don't know, I was burned on eBay with a phone a few years ago, and swore that I wouldn't let it happen again! I've checked a few shops and I can't find anything similiar-ly priced.

Only buy from powersellers with 99%+ feedback and research the feedback. There is an online buying forum under "Biz" if you have doubts post the sellers name and item there.
I would get yourself a phone. I have a nokia 6230i, has a 2gb card for mp3s and photos, and has a radio, pick em up cheap second hand here on boards
