Take her out, dinner, her first legal night in a bar, and then the usual birthday stuff - really depends what she's into.

A child. It'd be embarrassing for an 18 year old to not have at least 1 at this stage. What would her peers think?

Seriously, how long have you been together? What sort of budget?

That's a lie. A filthy rotten lie. Propogated by men, in a desperate attempt to get off the hook. It isn't working.

Taking the advice of Eminem, I'd something normal (dinner etc.) followed by 200cc's of the Hot Beef Injection.

Meh. It started out as a rip on your spelling skills, but then took root as a joke. See it as you will.

Yeah I'll probably do that, I got her a metallica ticket too. It's been about 2years now...so I kinda should get her a couple of things.

    ....maybe next year...

At that age, how great your present is, is a function of sacrifice. You don't have much money, so the more expensive your present is perceived to be, the more kudos you get. Make sure you rub it in that you'll eating beans for the next three months to survive.

    Thoughtfulness does outrank that though.

Metallica ticket + dinner is easily enough (those tickets are ridiculously expensive). That's assuming of course that the ticket is for her and not for you! :D

Oh well, sure isn't this all what the student grant is for. :)

Get her a boyfriend who knows his girlfriend well enough to know what to get her and who doesn't resort to asking strange people with strange names on a strange message board for help. Come on phantom_lord(3/10,both Phantom and Lords are definitely deserving of Capital letters) you can do better than this. THINK MAN THINK

    Clearly Pighead, you're womanless.

Unless you're flush enough with cash to buy roses and diamonds (work every time), then pressie buying for women is a black art.
