xda II repairs

    hi, a guy i work for has recently given me his damaged xda II, as he was going to throw it out...

    the problem looks like it the part where you plug in the charger... the phone doesnt turn on as it mite be out of juice cuz i can't get it to charge...


    just wondering , are there any repair places in dublin? other than o2 (cuz he's no longer a customer)?

    i had a similar problem,battery went totally dead and it wouldnt charge throught the usb,but i have a car charger and dongle and it charged up through that,though if the charging jack is damaged it could be a different story alltogether

    been looking at it now a bit and have discovered that the problem is the actual charging jack... i can see pins loose and damaged looking.... it looks like something was jammed into it and its completely damaged inside....

    there is a really good guy that repairs phones for reasonable price.
    he is on anguier street in dublin 2.its a chinese guy and has a shop beside the capital bar(i think thats what its called).
    pmme if u want his number.

    there is a new phone repair place on south anne st called fonemenders...don't know anything about them but could drop into them and see if they could do anything.....
