O2 K750i debranding?

I'm thinking of Getting a K750i from O2 but I'm wondering if I can do the sonyericsson flash upgrades with it myself over the web? or do I have to go to the O2 store if I ever need an upgrade? also how annoying is the O2 Firmware? Cheers! J

It's minimal - just an o2 symbol in the top left of the menu instead of the playnow icon. Nothing on the body either. I still flashed mine just for the sake of it and to be able to use the Sony Update Service (otehrwise you'd have to wait for them to launch an o2 firmware).

cool, I just picked one up for €19 in Blackrock from the O2 store on the main street there. €19 with the €35 a month tarrif. As you said nothing on the outside of the phone! I might flash it just for fun in a littel while!
