Thats basically what i want to know, thinking of geting my lip pierced but wouldn't be able to wear visible jewellery in work..

Yeah you should be able to get clear retainers for it in any body piercing shop without too much hassle.

there's a thread already made about this, ya might just have to sift through a few to find it.
But yeah you can get retainers. Have a vertical labret myself and it's barely noticeable when I wear a retainer in work, especially if you don't screw on the balls.
You should wait a few weeks til it's healed before you start wearing it though.
