Babyshambles - Complete Hoax

Just heard on the wireless this morning... Its been revealed (from the horses mouth apparently) The whole Pete Doherty, Babyshambes, Drug Abuse, Armed Robbery etc was "The Biggest Hoax in British History" concocted by the KLF who "plucked" Pete Doherty from obscurity and made him into a Chantell style figure to highlight…

Just heard on the wireless this morning... Its been revealed (from the horses mouth apparently) The whole Pete Doherty, Babyshambes, Drug Abuse, Armed Robbery etc was "The Biggest Hoax in British History" concocted by the KLF who "plucked" Pete Doherty from obscurity and made him into a Chantell style figure to highlight the fickleness of celebrity... His name isnt even Pete Doherty its Trevor McDermot... He was a Buddy Holly Impersonator and he decided to part ways with the KLF hense the hoax coming to light... Im glad I wasn't a fan... That said I can't understand why anyone would be.. He played a good smack head I'll give him that.. Suppose it all makes sense really.. Showing his "heroin scars" to a news camera????? Hello... There was a lot of holes in the whole thing.. He couldnt even sing FFS.. Anyone who saw him sing Children of The Revolution at the V Festival would know that... Apparently The Samaritans have recruited a sh*t load of extra staff to deal with the volume of calls from distraught teenagers who have just found out that he's not actually a smack head... The mind boggles...

Seems to be a fair amount of nay-saying on the ole internet machine. If it's actually a hoax I'm delighted, if not, indifferent. the guys a spanner in any case

That story is bollocks. The actual hoax is that a lot of people have been led to believe that Doherty is actually a frontman for a band, and not a shabolic talentless drug addled prat.

No, the real hoax is that you read the tabloids too much and buy into the whole anti-Pete hysteria bullsh!t.

No. All of the above were talented, created great music, could perform live in front of an audience, and could string a sentance together without falling over. None of which have been achieved by Doherty.
