Phone beep?

    Lately when I make a call on my 6230 it has started to beep once before it dials. Whats the story there? Anyone else notice this?
    Someone said it was tapped! Surely not :(

    if you call a number that isnt on the network its prefix is associated with it gives a beep. eg calling an 086 number on meteor beeps. its so you know that you're paying the "other network" rate rather than the own network one
