00 Micra - Semi of Full Synthetic?

Just wondering does anyone know what engine oil should be used on a 00 Micra, Semi or Full Synthetic?

I presume a 10w 40 Semi Synthetic will be the one as its a standard 1l engine... just want to make sure

Semi Synthetic IMO.

Semi should do ya just fine, refer to the manual though and see what it says

micras are one of the best built small cars you can get, pity they look so silly!

I ended up using 10w 40 Semi Synthetic, did the job grand.

I agree about the Micras being bulletproof. Both my parents have Micras, never given a days bother. They also use chains for the timing which is a brilliant idea.. I wish all cars were chains
