Well after talking to a couple guy friends, they have informed me that even if a guy is in a good relationship, he will stray if he s not getting everything he wants, no matter how much he cares for the girl...

What do you think? Is this true in your opinion ? :rolleyes:

Well considering that the idea of love is an imaginary feeling designed so humans can procreate, as long as the instincts are fulfilled the person could stray. Especially if he's drunk. Scientific, apparently.

The only difference between us and animals is that we ask such questions, a wiser man than me once told me. Our instincts remain the same essentially.

you give a guy every thing he needs, within reason - hes not going anywhere heyes.

It is not.

Imo, if it happens it is becuase the offender isn't loyal enough to their partner...in that case, the relationship was doomed from the start.

I've seen the biggest players and cheaters stop once they met a girl they were actually happy with, as in, loved very much etc...

Id have to agree, i was suprised when i heard one of the lads say this, i just really didnt think thats how guys thought, in fairness i dont think most do, but was still suprised.

Don't beleive its true, if the relationship is good and fulfilling, I think most guys would not stray, imo

tbh i wouldn't and most of my mates in relationships wouldn't "stray" either. it'd have to be a fairly crap relationship if that were to happen

It#s partially true imho. Most guys in a steady good realtionship will certainly fantasize or think about straying but might not take the actual step.

Certainly guys will regard having sex as an action seperate from any emotional relationship. It's a bit like going to the chip shop for a bag of chips....

Depends on the guy to be honest. Ive never ever done the dirt on any of my girlfriends, never even been close to doing the dirt on them. And i never will do the dirt on anybody.

Dont think all guys are like this, for example your male friends might have a different personality/ies to other guys!
Although in my own experience, ive had a male friend make a move on me on a night out (minus the GF), i said no, but he's all lovey dovey with this girl every other time i see him. he might have had a few in him, and left the ball n chain at home, but still!

Hold on, you were shocked to hear that some men would tend to stray if they aren't getting what they want? Would you be equally as shocked to hear that women are capeable of it too?

Amazingly some men & women can stray even when they're getting what they want from their respective partners. People are wierdos and their actions generally can't be explained.

To heyes & Sico,

That's a complete crock of sh!t, a man who is in a loving relationship will not stray. My first gf cheated on me, it doesn't mean that I go around saying that all women are sluts and that they should die or that I'd never trust another woman. If I were to do that, I'd never have found my current gf of 5 years whom I live with. You're always going to come across arseholes in life that'll cheat but they'll be both male or female.

Once again we've another generalisation on Boards but I suppose it's time that men got a good bashing though
