Ch4 no longer working on FTV Card

    Wonder if someone can help. I have a UK FTV card and until recently all was fine however now Ch4 and FIVE are showing as subscription only and can no longer be viewed. The FTV is not in the Sky box all the time as I alternate between my Irish card and FTV card - maybe that has something to do with it? Anyone any ideas if and how I can get back Ch4? Thanks in advance for the help.

    Leave it in for (upto) 24 hrs. If it doesnt, then worry.

    Sky send an over the air message to the Free to View card every so often, if the card misses the message for usually 4 to 6 weeks, it will "Fall asleep" To awake the card you need to leave in a sky digibox over night.

    To avoid this problem every so often (every 2 weeks) leave the ftv card in sky box overnight.

    I suppose as an analogy it is correct.

    what I believe happens is the keys change and the card autoupdates
