Just woken up by a spider!

I just woke up to find something crawling on the back of my neck near my ear, ewww. First thing I did was reach for it and throw it off me, then I got my phone out to see if I was imagining things or what had just happened. With a quick scan over my duvet I found a spider, about the size of my little finger, crawled up in a ball. I think I seriously injured the poor little fellow though:( I flicked him onto the floor. I wonder how he is now! I wonder would he have been one of the victims of spider swallowation that is supposed to occur every few months. I beat the system, déisht!

You think thats bad.......I was once woken by the sound of my sister screaming in the middle of the night. Turned out she had been woken up by a very large spider who was in the middle of crawling into her mouth......:(

Isn't there meant to be some statistic saying that a human swallows a certain amount of spiders/insects in their life while sleeping?

Yeah, 12, as far as I know. So if you've reached at least 1/12 of your life expectancy, then you probably have spider eggs and/or little baby spiders inside you.

Yeah I was woken by the shrill sound of my sisters petrified screams once as a kid.. I turned on the light and there was this huge spider ab-sailing down towards her head...

Her face was white

I once had a butterfly (who woke up from hibernation in my Clothes Closet) Fly over and perch on my mouth but didn't get into it, I then released him where he was quickly killed by a wagtail and was supper for him

(a stupid thing to do when they are hibernating i found out later) The worst thing I ever say was a spider as big a saucer inside in a bath once. Once there was a bluebottle half caught to the flypaper and i took him off while he was still alive, and stuck him onto a spiders web in the garden. Spiders give a bad death to their victims tbh.

Well it wasn't so much a flick, but a brush off. He's not where he landed anymore so I'm guessing he's doin aiiigh.
